About Us
Crystal Lake Baptist Church has been worshiping in the same location in Burnsville,
MN since February, 1969. In our forty plus years here we have seen the
communities around us grow to engulf what was once a country church. We
still keep a family feel to our congregation and our ministries.. We
are committed to reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ through growing
relationships with God, the church, our community and the world. You
will find our teaching to be Bible based and challenging with an
expectation of personal application and growth.
We are, first of all, followers of Jesus Christ. Our first loyalty is to Him. We are Baptist by conviction. That is, we believe Baptist churches closely follow what we see in the New Testament about what a church should be. We are local Baptists who choose to affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), the Minnesota-Wisconsin Baptist Convention (MWBC) and the Twin Cities Metro Baptist Association (TCMBA) for resources, missions and world wide evangelism.
We enjoy fellowship with all who are of like heart and conviction and often have visitors of other denominations or of no particular church affiliation who are at home in our family environment. Our services and studies focus on helping each person learn to study the Bible for themselves and to apply learned content to their daily lives.
